Review Policy

Thirteen O’Clock is run and staffed by volunteers. We love to receive review material, but since we’re all human beings with jobs, families, and lives, we can’t guarantee that everything received will be reviewed. We do promise to do our best! If you have something you’d like to submit to us for review, please contact Alan, Felicity or Andrew at editors[at]thirteenoclock.com.au.

It is our policy to avoid bias (as much as is humanly possible) in our reviews, so please don’t ask for paid or reciprocal reviews.

The reviewers at Thirteen O’Clock aim to be fair and clear in their reviews, and will honestly assess work based on merit. However, reviews are by their nature personal opinion. We welcome constructive feedback, but we hope you’ll take the subjective nature of reviews into account. We will not edit or remove a review unless something is found to be defamatory, overtly offensive (we reserve the right to judge what constitutes offensive material) or factually incorrect.
